
Besides the local Chilean workers and guides who work with us throughout the year, we also welcome international helpers during the high season. If you're interested in joining us on the farm for a few months as a helper, please review the following information and then contact us.
Requirements:
You should:
…be able to work independently and handle large responsibilities.
…have good social skills and like dealing with our international guests.
…have experience with horses.
…speak fluent English and at least some Spanish.
…love to be outside, even in bad weather.
Responsibilities include:
....Guiding tours on your own after a period of getting accustomed to the farm, horses, and trails.
.... Doing all manner of work connected with treks and horses, including catching, grooming, feeding, saddling, and herding the horses, as well as helping to prepare and pack for treks.
....Caring for our international guests in the cabin.
.... Helping guests and accompanying them on other activities, such as visit at hot springs etc.
As a helper you will:
…generally work about 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. Schedule will vary according to your needs and Antilco's programs.
…live without daily internet as there is no internet on the farm.
... stay in a room in the farm house with separate entrance and bathroom. Room may be private or shared with another helper.
... eat meals together with the family.
