Campo Antilco is a mountain farm, located 12km outside of Pucón, nestled between the banks of the Liucura River and the foothills of the "Cerros de Quelhue" Forest Reserve. On the farm we work on 76 acres, some owned, some rented, including pastureland and forests which we share with our 21 horses. Besides growing vegetables and fruit for our own needs, we find time and space to raise pigs, chicken, sheep, geese and ducks under natural conditions.

Setting off from our farm, we explore the valleys around Pucón and the National Parks Villarrica and Huerquehue all year round, and go kayaking on the crystal rivers nearby. We welcome you to Antilco and invite you to spend time with us, either in a cabin or in our small guesthouse, discovering the beauty of Pucon's surroundings for yourself.

Getting to the farm

By car: Drive from Villarrica to Pucón, and continue through town and out of it, following signs to "Currarehue," and "Argentina" - (Paso Mamuil Malal). About 4km outside of town turn left off the paved road where it says “Aeropuerto” (airport), and follow the signs to "Quelhue." Cross the narrow bridge which spans the Trancura river and follow the road 100 meters to the T-junction where you'll turn right, towards "El Cristo." Follow the road another 4km until you see the sign for Antilco and our driveway on the right side of the road.

Pucon is situated 700 km south of Chile's capital Santiago and easily reached by plane or with the very comfortable and reliable bus system .

Pucon airport is open only during the sumer months, the next airport working year around is Temuco, 1.5 hours by bus away.

Public Transportation from the North:

By air :The nearest airport with regular flights is in Temuco where 2-4 flights arrive daily from Santiago. (Direct flights form Santiago to Pucón fly only in January and February). From Temuco Airport take a transfer bus (about 15000$, 1 hour long) straight to Pucón, or take a cab (3000$, 20min.) to bus station, and continue on with the public bus (2000$, 1,5 hours, departs every hour) to Pucón. Once in Pucon, we'll pick you up.

Public bus: There are 6-10 daily buses from Santiago to Pucón, and its best to choose the night bus because there's not much to see on the trip down. Several companies offer this service, but we can recommend “Busses JAC” and “TUR “bus. There are 3 different categories, classico, ejecutiva and salon cama, which vary in price (10,000- 30,000CP). You'll reach Pucón at 8-9 am and we'll pick you up once you get there.

Train: Since the famous art-deco wagons don’t run anymore, trains aren't a good alternative to public busses. In any case, the nearest railway station is in Temuco. From the train station, take a cab to the JAC bus station (1000$, 5min, only 5 blocks away, but hard to find) and get a direct bus (2000$, 1,5 h, departure every hour) to Pucón. Once in Pucon, we'll pick you up.

Public Transportation from the South:

By bus: “Buses JAC“ run two buses a day from Puerto Montt - Osorno - Pucón (8000-19000$, depending on the class, about 6 hours). Several buses run from the central bus station in Valdivia (7am-8pm, every 1.5 hours, about 3 hours). Once in Pucon, we'll pick you up.

By airplane: Lan Chile flies Puerto Montt to Temuco. From Temuco Airport take a transfer bus (about 15000$, 1hour) straight to Pucón, or take a cab (3000$, 20min.) to the bus station, and then continue on with the public bus (2000$, 1,5 hours, departs every hour) to Pucón. Once in Pucon, we'll pick you up.
