Who can participate
Everyone who is healthy and fulfils the specifications shown in the tour descriptions may participate.
If you have medical concerns, please let us know well before departure.
The guide has the right to prohibit any rider from continuing, at any time during the tour, if he/she feels the tour member is physically incapable and/or if the continued participation will be detrimental to the individual involved or to the group. Refunds are not given under such circumstances.
Reservations must be made in writing, by fax or e-mail, and will be validated for both parties by our confirmation.
To make a booking definite, you must make a 20% non-refundable deposit. The outstanding amount shall be paid 30 days prior to your trip.
Due to the fact that Hospital facilities for serious problems are often unavailable, and evacuation can be prolonged, difficult, and expensive, it is necessary that we assume no liability regarding provision of medical care at any time during the trip.
Cancellation and Refund
Cancellation of a confirmed booking always entails loss of the down payment, which is 20% of the total trip cost.
The remainder schould be canceled 30 days before the starting date.
Due to the nature of our treks, which must be planned well in advance, we are bound by the following refund policy.
Cancellations up to one month ahead of the date: 80% refund
Cancellations 30 - 7 days ahead of the date: 50% refund
Cancellations 7 - 0 days ahead of the date: 10% refund
Of course you always have the right to pass your place to another adequate person. In this case we charge no additional fees.
Whenever possible we accept date changes up to 30 days before the program starts under the following conditions:
Date transfers within the SAME season will be charged a fee of 50,-€,
Date transfers to the FOLLOWING season will be charged a fee of 100,-€
We recommend that you buy travel insurance to safeguard against cancellation and curtailment.
Minimum of participants
The tours can only take place with a set minimum of participants.
In case of fewer participants we have the right to cancel a tour up to 7 days before departure.
In such a case you will be given full refund of the amount paid. We will not be responsible for any additional expenses.
Insurance and medical care:
You must accept full responsibility for insurance up to the limits you deem necessary. This insurance must cover personal accidents; we recommend insurance covering emergency air transportation on the several day horse treks and all white water activities. When obtaining travel insurance, you should inform the insurer of the type of travel to be undertaken. Due to the fact that Hospital facilities for serious problems are often unavailable, and evacuation can be prolonged, difficult, and expensive, it is necessary that we assume no liability regarding provision of medical care at any time during the trip.

On the tour:
As with every outdoor activity, our treks are weather dependent.
Reasonable changes may be made to the itinerary due to weather conditions and water levels (Kayaking), or if a change is judged to be in the best interest and well-being of all participants.
If there are conditions that make it impossible for us to guarantee a tour's safety, we may in any moment cancel or end the tour. In this case we refund a .%, in case of complete canceling a 100% refund will apply.
