Dear Ale and Mathias,
I wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful day you gave us in Pucón! We had heard from various travelers that the cabalgata is something you simply can't miss while in the area. Alejandra was an excellent guide; she was perfectly fluent, and was both funny and kind in English and in Spanish. She taught me to "relax" (something that's often hard for us Americans!), and made me feel much more comfortable on a horse than I have in years. There is something unforgettable about galloping alongside a river with the three volcanoes in view. I really wish we had time for a longer trek across the Andes. Thank you so much for a wonderful day! -Claire

Hi Mathias!
...now that we are back home, I wanted to say thank you for the days we spent on your farm and with Alejandra in the mountains. It was truly a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our travel in Chile and Argentina. All in all the entire trek was wonderful. We'd love to return immediately, we just have to save the money!...

What we saw and experienced over the last few days was unbelievable. Untouched nature, rainforest with these immense, ancient trees and dense bamboo which we had to cut our way through with a machete in order to reach this pristine lake with snowcovered mountains in the distance.
The tour was perfectly organized and everything worked out 100%. We had great horses, good gear, Northeface and Salewa tents, and they even served pisco.
Even the rain on the first day could not dampen our spirits, thanks to the good raingear we had. The natural hot springs, where we spent the night, also helped us warm up.
Our guides were great too. Manuela helped us enourmously and Luis found and cut the way through the mountains.
We had some romantic moments around the campfire, where we cooked our
meals.

...returned safely. Now I'm getting "homesick" even though I only spent a few days with you guys. Take it as a compliment. Everything was just right: the horses, the mood, the guides, the landscape, even the weather.... I just had a look at my photos and want to return immediately...(translation from german text, check the original)

Just wanted to say hi and thank you. Now that we are back in Austria, we're remembering the wonderful time we spent at your place. We felt at home right from the start and I would return right now if I could. I still find it hard to believe that we rode those trails. In parts Alejandra had to cut her way through! It was incredible how your horses took us safely up and down those mountains. I couldn't stop smiling I was so happy! The ride, the overnght in tents, the campfire and the BBQ ... all of it was definitely one of the highlights of our fabulous travels in Chile.

kisses,
Doris

Hola Mathias & family,... As we finish our travels I must say that the horseback ride was definitely the highlight of this journey. The breathtaking views and everchanging landscape left us deeply impressed. We will not forget your wonderful horses which were so much more tranquil and surefooted than our horses back home. I would have loved to take Bartolo with me. Also, as a horseowner myself, I wanted to add that your horses are so well kept and in good shape! We noticed immediately that you take great care of them and that they not only look beautiful, but are also wonderful horses.

We loved everything about our stay, the hospitality, the food... your cowboy Luis..... . If we're ever in South America again, we will definitely pass by for another ride.
